Documentary films
TripleDotMakers produced a series of seven documentary films charting the development of each major art commission within the National Landscapes programme. Filmed between May and October 2025, the series follows communities, writers, and artists as they shape new creative responses to some of the UK’s most distinctive National Landscapes.
Commissioned by the National Landscape Association with Creative Executive Producers Activate Performing Arts, the programme brought together six major art projects and a further 18 community‑led commissions. The films reveal how local voices, place‑based stories, and artistic experimentation informed each work.
Across the series, viewers encounter a wide range of artistic practice—from writing and performance to visual art, sound, and participatory projects—offering an intimate look at how artists and communities collaborated to explore landscape, identity, and imagination.
